IJL is celebrating 19 years in the dating business, providing successful matchmaking to thousands of single professionals. We've created a singles introduction agency where Vancouver's busy professionals feel comfortable with the process of meeting a new person. The company was born in 1991 in Chicago and now has locations from New York to Singapore….and scores in between.

It's Just Lunch was founded by a Chicago woman whose engagement was called off. Finding herself suddenly single, she began the tedious search to meet "normal", well-educated professionals. Her friends sent her out on blind dates, she tried personal ads, contemplated the internet, professional matchmakers/dating services, but she wasn't comfortable with any of these options. The ideal date, she decided, was a lunch date or a drink after work. A fun, laid back, stress-free way to meet!

Our clients are busy singles and we have a fantastic time providing quality matchmaking services. Our clients, Vancouver singles, are active, have a wide variety of interests and best of all have a positive attitude towards dating. Our clients' interests and hobbies include everything from jogging. rollerblading and biking on the seawall, skiing, golf and mountain climbing.
