What To Expect

How does it work?
First, you schedule a discreet, confidential interview with us at our Vancouver head office located at 609 Granville Street, Suite 1020 or various satellite locations. This interview enables our matchmakers to carefully discern what it is you look for in a potential partner. We talk about what has worked for you in the past (and what hasn’t) your interests, lifestyle and relationship goals. Then the fun begins - we match you with other IJL clients based upon your desires, goals, and our instincts.

How are clients matched?
We select a person for you based upon the information we discuss in the interview. Our clients are successful professionals that reside throughout the Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Whistler, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan. We can match you with lawyers, doctors, executives, teachers, chefs, entrepreneurs and much more. Our matchmakers have years of experience and create matches based on personality and physical preferences. Our service isn’t about online dating; it’s about our insightful, professional IJL team hand-selecting appropriate matches based upon your desires, goals, motivations and our instincts.

How is the date arranged?
How and where do I meet my date?
The only work you need to do is to show up at the restaurant and enjoy the date. We handle every step. If your schedule makes meeting for lunch difficult, we can arrange for a drink after work. Our goals are that the match is well-suited and the time and place are convenient for both of you. We schedule dates at some of the best restaurants in Vancouver, the North Shore, Fraser Valley, Whistler and Vancouver Island. Some of our great restaurant partners include Diva at the Met, Joe Forte's, Capones Restaurant, Saltlik, Seasons Hilltop Bistro, Italian Kitchen, Sanafir, The Mountain Club, The Ocean Club, Pearl on the Rock and many more. Our wonderful restaurant partners help us create an environment that makes getting to know the other person as natural (and fun!) as possible.

What happens next?
Actually, many of our first dates turn into second dates! At the end of the date, you can exchange business cards or phone numbers and make plans to get together again. Following each date, we ask that you call us with feedback. From your comments and overall impression of the person, we’ll fine tune your next match so that we can be even more precise in the future. The process couldn’t be easier.

What’s your success rate?
